This new iteration of the DKL grip is amazing. Way grippier for one. An added bonus is after skating I noticed far less dust on the board. I'm honestly blown away by the upgrade and feel it has now compared to gen 5, which I thought it was great, but had caveats. The way the grip feels now, I honestly can't feel a single difference in flick or feel compared to sandpaper. I will be interested to see how much longer this lasts since it's supposed to keep its grip longer.

If you're not using DKL, I honestly don't understand why not. Keeps shoes looking fresh, no ripped laces, and now you're not sacrificing grip in any way if you're switching away from sandpaper. Better for your wallet and the environment.

I'm 33 and have been skating since I was 11. I haven't slowed down since I started, and this honestly has made me happy I'm still skating seeing this innovation. Big shoutout to the DKL team for making this and continuing to make it better. You're making me enjoy skateboarding more than I already have.

I had been curious about DKL for a while so I finally decided to give it a try just over a month ago. I skate every day and I do a lot of flip tricks so I usually go through shoes every 2 months or so. I bought a brand new pair of canvas shoes (I never skate canvas because they will be gone in a week), and after a month of heavy skating they are basically brand new. It took me about a day to get used to it, and now I would take this grip over abrasive any day. Without a doubt, I will never go back to regular grip tape and it is surprising that DKL hasn't blown up more. I urge anybody that is interested to give it a try, it has definitely changed my skating for the better. The only thing that held me back from getting it sooner is that the reviews were showing that it peels up on the edges, however I just followed the directions closely and it came out clean looking and I haven't had any issues with peeling. I will be buying this grip again, thank you DKL.

I’ll be honest, after preferring the grippiest griptape for most of my life I did not have high hopes for DKL. Even gave me a little anxiety putting it on the first time 😆 man I’m glad I gave it a shot. The grip is perfect, my flick stays consistent and the best part? I’ve never had a pair of shoes last the life of a board. Until now. I’m on board #2 with the same shoes and they have zero wear. I do end up wearing a flat spot on the DKL where I setup for most my tricks so I need 2 sheets per board. But at $20 for two sheets vs 2 or 3 pairs of shoes in the same time frame, I’m saving a lot of money.

I was a little hesitant to buy. Then I went for it and will probably be the only grip ill ride for the rest of my life. Besides the fact it doesn't chew my shoes up. The grip is insane. Im a heelflip kickflip kinda guy. This shit doesn't let down. Will be again. I trimmed it with the cutter and used the old grip to sand the edges smooth. Worked great thanks!
